Friends and Family
$ 7,499 + Burial Fees
A Friends and Family Burial package gives you the opportunity to get together with family and friends for a simple, dignified funeral followed by a burial. You may also spend some time with your loved one prior to the funeral service.
Funeral services are held Monday to Friday.
This service includes 24-hour advice and support
WHAT’S INCLUDED

We will transfer your loved one into our care and provide fundamental hygienic services including partial embalming.

One of our funeral directors will visit you at your home or you are welcome to visit us at our Premises to finalise arrangements which will include preparation of all necessary documentation including the Death Certificate.

A Rimu foil casket with upholstered lining, handles, nameplate and if you require religious memorabilia. (Upgrade options are available)

We will compile and place a funeral or death notice in the newspaper.

There is an opportunity to spend some time with your loved one.

The funeral service may be held at a range of venues located in South Canterbury or an alternative venue which could be a church or residence.

We will arrange a celebrant or clergy to officiate the ceremony and arrange and print 50 service sheets.

A natural sheath of flowers up to the value of $100 will be placed on the casket.

Due to the unique options and pricing, 50% payment is required before the funeral service and the remainder is 14 days after the burial.
PLEASE NOTE
The purchase of a blot and burials fees are in addition to the above price. As there are many locations and different circumstances the price will vary. Please contact us to provide you with more information specifically for your situation.

If you would like to spend additional time with your loved one prior to the service, this can be arranged and an extra fee would apply.

Additional fees may apply if travel is outside of South Canterbury.

Weekend services include an additional fee of $600. plus additional burial charges if applicable.
The Funeral Service
As there are multiple options available, please discuss this with your funeral director, most churches and community venues are included in this price- exceptions apply, please ask for details.

Caskets
If you would like to upgrade from the cremation casket included in this option, please click on the link below to view our full casket options and prices.
Celebrant
Civil celebrant (included in option price). The celebrant can conduct either a religious or non-religious service, depending on family preferences.
Clergy member (included in option price). If a member of clergy is required, this will be discussed with your funeral director.
Music
Your funeral celebrant will ask you what songs you would like played and when during the service. We will source the music and make sure it is played at the appropriate time.

Service Tributes
These service tributes are an additional cost.

Family provided Photo Presentation on CD, DVD or USB. Testing and AV equipment hire fee + $175.

Create a professional Photo Presentation Tribute shown during the service, usually 35 - 40 photos are included accompanied by music. + $200
A memorial signature book is a personalised booklet with signature pages on the inside where your guests can enter their thoughts and attendance before and after the service.
Catering
Catering is an additional cost.
Catering options are possible, please discuss with your Funeral director for prices and details.

When will I see my loved one again?With The Simple Cremation option, there is no opportunity to view your loved one. If however, you wish to include a viewing the Small Gathering or Family & Friends options may be more suited to you.

When will I receive the death certificate?The death certificate is registered online on the day following the cremation and lodged with Births, Deaths and Marriages. It then takes 5-10 working days to be prepared and is posted direct to the Next of Kin as stated on the arrangement form.

Can we have catering?With the Simple Cremation, catering is not included. However, if you would like to have catering, then a Family and Friends option may be more suited to you.

When will we receive the ashes?One of our funeral directors will contact you once the ashes are ready to be collected. The ashes may be available two to three business days following the cremation.

Do the flowers get cremated as well?The flowers get cremated along with the casket, however if you wish to keep the flowers, your funeral director will make sure these are given to you prior.

What are your payment terms and options for payments?Due to the unique options and pricing, we do not run credit accounts. Full payment is to be made on or before the funeral service or the day of cremation.
